Vietnamese for Busy People is a series of two volumes intended for heritage students who wish to enhance their Vietnamese culture by way of acquiring their supposed-to-be mother tongue, and for non-heritage students who wish to endear themselves to the language of a newly established community in the United States and in most other countries around the world.

Designed to teach the daily conversations and reading, Vietnamese for Busy People series aims at a balance of linguistic background – which forms a foundation of knowledge of the Vietnamese language in deptth; and practical skills – which expands such knowledge of a living and modern language in breadth.

Authored by an experienced language teacher, Vietnamese for Busy People series definitely meets the need of people from many walks of life, who wish to acquire the Vietnamese language for tourism, business, academic study, and for an insight of the language.

Published by Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company, Vietnamese for Busy People series will be available for customers in late August 2007.

Bộ Vietnamese for Busy People gồm hai quyển dành cho sinh viên gốc Việt muốn trao giồi tiếng Việt của mình trở thành tiếng mẹ đẻ và cho sinh viên không phải gốc Việt muốn làm thân với ngôn ngữ và văn hóa của cộng đồng người Việt Nam còn non trẻ vừa mới thành hình tại Hoa Kỳ và tại hầu hết các nước khác trên thế giới.

Bộ Vietnamese for Busy People qua các bài đối thoại và tập đọc là một sự kết hợp hài hòa giữa cái vốn ngữ học làm căn bản về chiều sâu và khả năng ứng dụng ngôn ngữ về chiều rộng dựa trên nền tảng ngôn ngữ học hiện đại.
